Live A Balanced Life - Learn Some and Think Some and Create Some and Play Some and Work Some Every Day

Take A Nap Every Afternoon

When you go out into the world, watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together

Be aware of Wonder. Remeber the little seed in the styrofoam cup: The roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why, but we are all like that.

Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the styrofoam cup- they all die. So do we.

And then remember the Dick and Jane books and the first word you learned-the biggest word of all- LOOK!!

"Everything you need to know is in ther somewhere. The Golden Rule and love and basic sanitation. Ecology and politics and equality and sane living. Take any one of those items and extrapolate it into sophisticated and adult terms and apply it to your family life or your work or your government or your world and it holds true and clear and firm. Think what a better world it would be if we all-the whole world-had cookies and milk about three o' clock in the afternoon ad then lay down with our blankies or a nap. Or if all the governments had as a basic policy to always put things back where they found them, and clean up their own mess. And it's still true, no matter how old you are-when you go out into the world, it is best to hold hands and stick together."

For my daily readers, I am sure you remember my post a couple weeks back about the HUMONGOUS FLY with the strength of Hercules, that got into my perfectly good jar of green sun tea I had made. The jar held only water and teabags when I put it on the porch, and when I brought it in, there was a fly in my tea. All I could think of was that some Huge fly queen had gotten miffed at one of the lil' fly drones, and snatched him up, flew to my tea jar, lifted the lid with his mighty fly strength, and then slapped the lid down again for him to die a slow death by drowning. I have had my Texas sized fly swatter at the ready ever since, but he is a sneaky one I believe. I was lulled into a false sense of security these past couple of weeks thinking my tea was once again safe from the Fly Queen Killer, but as I went out to check my tea this past weekend........either a friend of the dearly drowned and departed former fly came by to pay his respects, or he was a lookout fly for the Queen and I am to expect another random fly drowning soon. I will keep you posted.......

There's been some interesting things in the news: Leading Anglican Says Church Wrongly Preoccupied By Gay Issue HERE, FDA Approves Single Pill HIV Cocktail HERE, University Ordered To Recognize Anti-Gay Group HERE, and Anti-Gay Groups Target Gay Games HERE.

And I leave you blogger friends with your usual "HUMP"day wednesday, extra portion of Daily Eye Candy. Remember, as always, these are random pictures of guys I personally find "hot", surfing around the net, and not meant to imply or suggest the orientation of any person presented. If you are the legal owner of the copyright to any of the above pictures and would like the picture removed, please contact me, and it will be removed immediately. Personally, I'm scrounging the city for Number 2....GG
